Red moles. Are you afraid of them?
Are you wondering about them? You may use this website to learn more about the red
moles. All you need is knowledge. And we’ll try to provide it to you, dear
red moles’ learners!
What is a red
mole? ( or “What are red moles?” )
Red mole or red moles are red. If you worry about cancer, at once we would like to
suggest you this link: http://www.cancer.gov/cancertopics/factsheet/Risk/moles
and you will see that it’s not so often and that it’s not that scary. In my
family there are 2 persons who had operation, because of this, well, we’re
still alive and it WASN’T painful at all.
More information
Well, as far as I know
there are no men or women without a single mole (or nevus). They (the moles and
the nevi) are an immanent part of our lives in the same way as our hair or our
kidney. Human beans develop different number of moles and nevi during their
entire life. Moles and nevi tend to appear during childhood. They gradually
disappear after middle age. White raced people have an average of 30 moles,
with some having up to 400 moles. The good news for those of you, who
have got numerous of them are that
the number of moles a certain person has, correlates with telomere length.
A study found that those with over 100 moles had longer telomeres, than those
with under 25 moles! And probably you know that the length of telomeres may be
of significance in the ageing process (shorter telomeres are thought to be
associated with a greater risk of age-related diseases).
Now let’s go on to
inform you about the red mole. Moles and nevi vary in color; they’re different
colors - for instance: light brown, brown, dark brown and black. True, but
sometimes some of them tend to be red ones. If you got
this/these one/ones the question should be “It this color a reason for
concern?” The answer I think is “If the mole was always red and doesn’t change
in shape, size, color, borders, and do not cause discomforts like itchy, pain,
bleeding, etc., then, most probably, it’s just a normal one, and there is
nothing to be concerned with.”
If it changes like:
getting asymmetric, making irregular borders, different color (variegated), bigger diameter
( greater than 6 mm) and evolving
over time (ABCDE) plus elevated
above the skin surface, firm to the
touch and growing (EFG), you must
visit your doctor !!!!!!! By the way, often some people think that cherry hemangioma is a red mole, but it isn’t!
Red mole in politics
Surprise
or not (depends of your knowledge) red
mole is also a political phenomenon. Let’s learn about
it: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Red_mole#Red_Mole
. Well, that’s all what I can tell you about the red mole/-s. Wish you good health, good luck and a lot of love.
